HOW IT ALL STARTED

“For centuries, wine has been a symbol of union, celebration, friendship and joy for many families. I was always charmed by this social aspect, which was what first led me to enter the fascinating world of wine in the late eighties as a partner and manager at Viña San Pedro in Chile. 1. Terroir: diverse and varied. The product of the Andes, gives place to a wide diversity of flavors and aromatic profiles, making a better structure and complexity of every bottle we produce.

2. Microclimate: ultra-low relative humidity and very few days of rain per year translate into more hours of sunlight, fueling the strong growth of our vines.

3. Beauty of the surroundings: Mendoza is, without a doubt, a unique place, not only for its landscapes but also for its people. Those who have visited know exactly what I mean. We felt comfortable here, and that’s what determined our final decision.

Finally, as a family with Italian origins, we wanted the architecture of our winery to be inspired by Tuscany, our favorite place. We wanted to create a “Little Italy” in Mendoza to honor our ancestors and create a warm, welcoming place for all who come to visit.

In 2004, we held our first harvest, and our dream was transformed into the family project we call Bodega Renacer.

With a multi-disciplinary vision and extensive experience in commerce, Patricio has pinned his hopes on Argentina for the challenge of producing premium wines of the highest quality.
