With the incorporation of solar panels to its barrel room, Renacer goes one step further on its green way, consolidating its commitment to the environment.
The barrel room is equipped with cooling/heating air systems, with high energy requirements, in order to keep the interior temperature controlled as needed at any time of the year.
With the addition of these solar panels, energy will be generated by 68 photovoltaic panels of 390 watts each. They are being installed on the roof of the room that houses the barrels, and will provide a total of 26.5 KW for the permanent operation of the air conditioning equipment and allows the ageing and storage of the Ícono and Reserva wines to be in optimal conditions.
In this way Renacer is one of the few local wineries that will use clean energy generators for its operation.
