Renacer's wines were awarded 93 points by the prestigious journalist and master of wine Tim Atkin, who once again had the opportunity to taste and evaluate a wide selection of wines from Argentina in his 2022 report.
Starting with 93 points for Punto Final Reserva Cabernet Franc vintage 2020, it is a wine with intense colors and diverse aromas, such as sweet spices, pepper and cloves. This wine has been highly valued by prestigious critics for several vintages, which makes it highly consistent year after year.
And for the Malbecs it scored 92 points, Renacer Malbec 2019, which is made with grapes from the Uco Valley of Gualtallary and El Cepillo and from Luján de Cuyo, Perdriel. Punto Final Reserva Malbec 2020, which is made from grapes from Paraje Altamira, Vista Flores and Perdriel, obtained another valuable 92 points from the Master of Wine.
He visited our country after two years, visited several wineries in Mendoza and Patagonia Argentina for 25 days and tasted more than 1,500 wines.
This year in an interview during his visit to Mendoza Tim noted that he has noticed two things, the first is that the vintages are increasingly differentiated, and that a 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 wine is not the same. And the second is the diversity of styles, regions, vineyards and the focus on the soil.
