The first 2022 reports from renowned critics started to be revealed. James Suckling published the first notes of a tasting of more than 1700 labels from different wineries in the country that included our wines.
The results were excellent for Renacer, starting with our recent launch, Renacer Cab-Cab 2018, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc that won and obtained 93 points, which was highlighted for its great body and tannins.
From the same line of icons, our other two varieties, Malbec and Cabernet Franc, both from the 2019 vintage, received 92 points each. Suckling noted the imposing aromas characteristic of this varietal and the excellent fruity balance of the Cabernet Franc.
Continuing with the 2020 vintage reserve labels, Punto Final Reserva Malbec was awarded 90 points and the renowned critic mentioned its very good balance of fruit, aromas and body. The Cabernet Franc of the same line and same vintage obtained a very valuable 90 points and the freshness of its tannins was highlighted.
