With a vast experience since the beginning of the winery in the production of these varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon from our estate in Perdriel, Luján de Cuyo and Cabernet Franc from Vista Flores in the Uco Valley, a limited edition of 2800 bottles of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Cabernet Franc has been added to the line of icons of the winery.
This Cab - Cab is aged for 24 months in first and second use French oak barrels of soft toast. The winemaking team describes it as a bright ruby red wine, with some aromas of rosehip, vanilla, chocolate, raspberry and also cedron. With a long finish, there are notes of black fruit and a spicy touch resulting from its time in oak.
"Each wine in our icon line reflects Renacer's identity: a winery specialising in high-end Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Specifically, this Cab-Cab blend is something we set out to do in the 2018 vintage and we have been following closely throughout these years to achieve the excellent wine we have today" says Fernando Sota, winemaking manager.
