The last scores of the year are starting to come in, and Punto Final Reserva Corte de Tintas 2020 scored 91 points from Vinous, the US magazine and website of renowned wine critic Antonio Galloni.
The entire Vinous panel tastes hundreds of wines each year, and is a clear reference for consumers when choosing wines. In Argentina, Joaquín Hidalgo, a journalist and winemaker from Mendoza, is in charge of tasting and presented his report.
He tasted more than 200 labels and Punto Final Reserva Corte de Tintas from the 2020 vintage received 91 points. Made from a blend of 3 varieties; 43% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Franc and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon from Mendoza and aged for 18 months in barrels. The spice on the nose and light tannins were outstanding.
