Patricio Tapia, renowned journalist and wine critic who publishes every year his Descorchados guide on Argentine wines, released the latest edition in which Bodega Renacer stood out with 5 wines above 90 points.
We highlight Renacer Cabernet Franc 2018 with 92 points, made from grapes sourced from Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley; and the recently launched limited edition release of the Punto Final Reserva line, which is a red blend, based on Petit Verdot from the 2019 vintage, was awarded 91 points.
Two more releases this year, both 2021 vintage, Punto Final Organic Malbec and Renacer Sangiovese Rosé scored 90 points.
Punto Final Reserva Malbec 2019, which was awarded 90 points from Descorchados, added its sixth award of 2021.
