The winery's organic wines arrived in 2021 to stay. Now a new Cabernet Franc in the reserve category has been added to complete the line.
After obtaining the certification, the first vintage of Punto Final Orgánico varietals comprising Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec Rosé was launched to the market, adding now a Cabernet Franc Reserva.
The grapes for this Cabernet Franc all come from the certified Renacer estate in Perdriel, Luján de Cuyo at 950 meters above sea level, from vineyards over 15 years old. The wine is made with indigenous yeasts for fermentation and is aged for 12 months in barrels.
The Punto Final organic label has nature and the biodiversity that coexist alongside the vineyards as protagonists. In addition, all the inputs used are 100% recyclable and have a low carbon footprint.
The production and consumption of organic wines has grown in recent years in Argentina in line with the emergence of consumption associated with wellbeing and sustainability. Renacer is one of the 70 Argentine wineries that produce and export organic wines, and the main markets besides Argentina are Mexico, the United States, the UK and Finland.
Fernando Sota, the winery's Winemaking Manager, tells us about the launching: "This wine includes a meticulous work to respect the environment and reaffirm our commitment to it".
