New year and renewed, a new appassimento area for our Milamore. This year we are full of projects, one of them is the expansion and technification of the "cradle" of Milamore.
In January we started the work whose main objective is to improve the process and the environment in which the dehydration process of the Milamore grapes is carried out until they lose 30% of water to be able to enter the winery.
Insulating panels are being placed on the sides and large fans are being installed to generate constant air currents. In addition, this new part of the
will be equipped with 12 photovoltaic panels that will produce a total of 12 KWD for the electrical self-supply needed for its proper operation.
The "Amarone" winemaking technique used mainly in Valpolicella, Italy, and in Mendoza only by Renacer, results in a slightly sweet wine. Milamore is a blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Bonarda and Cabernet Franc grapes, which is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Fernando Sota, Winemaking Manager, tells us that he is very happy with this great advance of the winery, as it is a key process in the production of this wine, which is constantly growing in sales.
