New Edition of Punto Final Reserva Red and White Blend.

Bodega Renacer is proud to present a new vintage of two of its limited edition specialties: Punto Final Reserva Red and White Blends from the 2021 and 2022 harvests, respectively.

The Winemaking team has crafted the third version of the red blend based on Bonarda and the second volume of the white blend based on Trebbiano.

The Red Blend is created from 50% Bonarda, 30% Petit Verdot, 15% Ancellotta, and 5% Cabernet Franc. The grapes are sourced from iconic locations, including Agrelo in Luján de Cuyo, Cruz de Piedra in Maipú, Medrano in Junín, and the Cabernet Franc from Block 9 of the Renacer estate in Perdriel in Luján de Cuyo. Each variety is vinified separately, with Bonarda undergoing carbonic maceration in stainless steel tanks. Petit Verdot ferments for 8 days at controlled temperatures, followed by skin extraction. Ancellotta and Cabernet Franc undergo traditional fermentation. Each variety is aged separately in barrels, and once the blend is assembled, it rests for 8 months in tanks.

The White Blend is crafted from 50% Trebbiano, 30% Chardonnay, and 20% Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes are sourced from Medrano in Junín, Alto and Bajo Agrelo in Luján de Cuyo. Each variety is processed separately, with Trebbiano having a brief skin maceration to enhance its aromas. Chardonnay undergoes oxidative winemaking and a brief aging in French oak barrels. Sauvignon Blanc is pressed directly, without oxygen contact, and is aged in stainless steel. The final blend then rests for 3 months in third-use barrels.

The new edition of Punto Final Reserva Red and White Blends represents the perfect blend of tradition and innovation, capturing the essence of different terroirs in Mendoza in each bottle.
