Mundus Vini announced the results of its 2021 tasting and Punto Final Reserva Malbec and Cabernet Franc, both 2019, obtained a Gold medal, while the Corte de Tintas of the same year, a Silver medal.
This competition has been held since 2001 in Germany and ranks wines tasted in different categories. There are 180 experts who taste the samples sent by wineries from all over the world during 14 days, among them, oenologists, sommeliers and journalists.
Punto Final Reserva Malbec 2019, the most awarded wine of 2021 for the winery, won a Gold medal and the judges pointed out that it is a harmonious wine with a balanced acidity and notes of mocha and red fruits.
Also with a Gold medal, Punto Final Reserva Cabernet Franc 2019, which stood out for being a wine with good body and acidity. The tasting notes described spices and eucalyptus notes.
Our latest limited edition release was also lucky in the competition, Punto Final Reserva Corte de Tintas 2021, a Petit Verdot base blend, won a Silver medal. The judges concluded that it is a harmonious wine with balanced acidity and fresh notes of cherry and red fruits.
