The beginning of spring marks the launch of the 2023 wine harvest, known for being fresh and light. Bodega Renacer's portfolio offers options in its specialty and varietal categories.
The first one is Renacer Bequignol Rosé, a rosé wine made from a non-traditional grape variety in Argentina, as there are few vineyards of this variety. It comes from Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo. It has a salmon-pink color with golden reflections. On the nose, it evokes citrus notes like pink grapefruit. On the palate, it shows a fresh mouthfeel with lively acidity and great persistence.
Another novelty is the highly anticipated Punto Final Naranjo 2023, which is unique in its production method, using Chardonnay grapes from Luján de Cuyo. This process involves alcoholic fermentation with the skins, similar to a red wine. It is a refreshing wine with notes of apricot, ginger, honey, chamomile flowers, and subtle aromas of toasted bread. It has light tannins and mild acidity. This is the third consecutive edition of this wine, and this year 8000 bottles were produced.
Punto Final Sauvignon Blanc 2023 from Bodega Renacer is one of the specialties that best reflects the Casablanca Valley in Chile. The Casablanca Valley is the world's prime region for growing this variety and is recognized as such. The soils here are among the oldest in South America and contribute a distinctive character. This region lacks nearby river channels, and its only source of irrigation is rain. In the glass, this Sauvignon Blanc presents itself with crystal-clear colors and greenish hues, while in the mouth, it dazzles with its balanced natural acidity and medium body.
Additionally, the winery introduces the new harvest of Punto Final Malbec Rosé, the must-have for the spring-summer season. This wine is made from grapes sourced from Renacer's own estate in Perdriel, with the particularity that they were harvested early in the morning, without sunlight to preserve the fruit's freshness. It has a pale pink color like every rosé from the winery, with a soft profile.
